This has been useful many times during servicing and and sprocket replacements. Being able to brake any almost any size chain was what i was looking for and thats what i got. Has been very durable.

Economically Priced Tool that does the job.
I have been in the manufacturing industry for over 30 years, this tool does everything it supposed to do. I saw that there were competitors products at much higher prices, but this one works as intended. I am assuming that the higher price have better finish but that doesn't make sense to pay for that with a chain press tool.

Tusk Heavy Duty chain Breaker
520 SDZZ chain - based on description, the standard duty breaker would have sufficed, but I still opted for the heavy duty breaker.
I ground the rivet down to start, matched the push pin to the rivet shift. It bent the push pin on the first try. I used the second push pin in the case. The rivets finally pushed out.
Turns out that the threads of the support piece were stripped also from the pressure. (It looks like they were not machined correct from the factory).
Installing the master link, the riveter piece that flares the rivets would not flare my 520 chain.
I ended up using the ball bearing from inside adjustment screws that is used with the push pin. I had to dap grease on the ball bearing to get it to stick to the larger diameter support piece of the largest pin.

It works as intended. I was able to rivet the master-link on my chain.

Thought this would be adequate to break and then reinstall new cam chain link on my 2001 KTM 520 RFS. I was able to press the pins out of the chain which bent the push pin. There is no way to get the tool to line up properly in order to bevel the pins on the new link. Buyer beware I can't recommend this tool and now am ordering the KTM OEM specialty tool.

A must have if you are replacing chains without a master link.

First one was missing parts, the second one the threads in the block are no good and even matchup between the two kits made one work sorta, does not flare the rivets nice at all very hard to keep center on the chain I have killed 3 master links trying to get the flare correct waiting on 3 more master links to show up to try some more times wish the ball for flaring was a tapered point with a stop block so it would flare straight and not over flare.

nice product, seems to be well made and is way cheaper than the other brand.
Not sure of durability yet, but tusk is usually pretty good.

Standard duty tool, poor quality
This review is for the standard duty riveting tool. I bought this to press the pin out of a cam chain. This requires the smallest pin in the set. One press and the pin bent. It was a successful press, but who can justify buying a tool for one use?

I have never had any problems ordering Tusk tools or tusk parts. So I was surprised to find out I was missing pieces. My bad I was in the middle of the job already. And the parts I did use did not seem that heavy duty. Would shy away from this tool and could not recommend.
