Good product - not the easiest to install
Pros: Small, lightweight, thick plastic that seems durable (but haven't put to full test yet), perfect fit to linkage, reasonable price.
Cons: Not as easy to install as other 2 piece linkage guards. Need to slightly pull up on the rear wheel while removing lower shock bolt, otherwise bolt will stick and could mess up the threads while turning. This is best done with 2 people. Was able to slip the rear piece of the guard in place without removing the rear dog bone nut like someone else mentioned. Remember to reapply some Loctite 2071 when re-installing the shock bolt.

Kindy tricky to install at first...
For as simple as a part that this is, it took some work to figure out how it was supposed to be installed. No instructions are included. You'll need remove the lower shock bolt AND the rear dog bone bolt. Otherwise its almost impossible to fish the small half into place. It uses a simple thread forming screw to hold the two halfs together.

I was worried this might break easily but it has been very durable. Love that it is a lightweight option.

As described. Wont be able to say anything about durability until I get a season on it.

Great product with good protection.
No instructions come with this protector so follow my advice and lift the rear end of the bike, remove the lower shock to linkage bolt, slide the protector over and in place, then replace the lower shock to linkage bolt.
