ATVs are made to go just about anywhere. Unfortunately, there are some places that a quad can get to that aren’t so easy to get out of. For those times when you’re stuck and need a little help, there’s an ATV winch. When you have a winch installed on your four wheeler, you don’t have to worry quite as much about mud or marshes. And if you do any winter riding, a winch is indispensable. Not only are winch-operated snow plows much easier to use than their hand-operated cousins, but a good ATV winch can literally be the difference between life or death if you find yourself stuck in the snow alone on a wintery afternoon.
At Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, we stock winches from three respectable brands: Warn, Tusk and Polaris. In fact, you’ll find so many Warn ATV winches here that you might not know where to begin. Here are a few things to look for when shopping for winches:
Of course, if you’re looking for the best ATV winch around, you can’t go wrong with real reviews from actual customers. That’s why you can read what our past customers have said about their experience with any product on our site.
Now is the time to equip your quad with one of the finest winches around. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Take a look at our impressive selection, and buy an ATV winch today!

It works great so far. I have mostly used it for plowing snow and had a contract for a local business for a while. It works great.

I've had two warn winches and so far this one is proving itself just as worthy, for half the price. For an occasional use winch, so far it's served me very well on my 1994 Fourtrax 300. Came with everything I needed minus a winch plate but the cables were plenty long enough and easy to install.

I installed the Tusk Winch on my RZR 1000 XP. The installation kit was good quality and very straight forward to install. It all fit perfectly and is very rugged. The winch works great.

The install was fairly simple. Depending on where you mount the relay you might have to extend the switch wiring. I had to extend mine about a foot and a half for a Honda Foreman with the relay in the trunk space behind the tail light since there wasn't a good alternative location to mount it. It would be nice if they included a wiring extension with plugs for the switch so you don't have to splice an extension in. I also had to extend the red power wire that comes off the switch to run it back up to the handlebars. This kit doesn't come with an abrasion sleeve or bumper stop for the synthetic line so you'll need to source and purchase those separately. An abrasion sleeve seems like an important piece of kit for synthetic line.
